A 50 Year Member has moved on.
JUNE 20
- It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Ex-Chief and 50 year member Pat Caravello. Pat was a lifetime resident of Mount Kisco and died on June 16, 2010. During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army from 1951 1954. Pat was a long time member of the American Legion Post 136 in Mount Kisco and previously served as its Chief. Local Firefighters Perform at Fox Lane
APRIL 17
- On Saturday, April 17th the Fox Lane High School held it's annual Lip Sync competition. In this event any student or group of students can pick a song and try out to take part in the lip sync. The event is thrown by the foreign language department and is judge by Fox Lane students and administration. One of the groups that performed was the Fox Lane Bucket Brigade. House Fire Displaces 4 Family's
APRIL 15
- At 18:38hrs., the Mount Kisco Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on Maple Avenue. 45M1, of Westchester EMS was on scene immediately, confirming the fire. He then began evacuating the residents. Upon C2283's arrival, a 10-75 was transmitted. The rear of the building was fully involved from the first floor up through the attic. Tuesday Night Drill
FEBRUARY 11
- For the weekly cleanup/training on Tuesday, February 9th under the instruction of a few veterans, some of the younger hooks put their saw skills to the test. Using two K950 saws, members were able to cut up a steel box, located behind the shop at 342 Lexington Avenue. Members went over the components of the saws, how to change blades, and different cutting techniques.
